I'd like to remind everyone that, if you haven't already sent in your contract and payment for the 2012 Expo, you have until December 15th to get your contract
and payment submitted to ensure the same booth space you had for the 2011 show.
It's hard to believe a year has passed and it's time to get ready for the 2012 show season. Once again, we look forward to spring and the Midwest Fly Fishing Expo. I hope all of you have had a great summer filled with plenty of fishing - and your share of catching as well!
I'd like to welcome you to the 2012 Midwest Fly Fishing Expo. It's the 34th Annual Expo, once-again sponsored by the Michigan Fly Fishing Club (MFFC). We are the oldest fly fishing show in the country, and one of the largest as well. The members of the Club would like to invite you to be a vendor at the Expo and share in the fun, friendship, and excitement that the Expo brings to all participants each year. The dates for 2012 will be March 10th and 11th, with vendor setup on the 9th. We are staying with the second full weekend in March for the show. As in past years, all of the particulars are outlined in the attached documents.
Please note the due date for payment to reserve your booth space.
I've attached three documents for you - a welcome letter for the Expo, a contract for 2012, and a copy of the layout from 2011 for you to use to jog your memory on your booth location and to assist you as you select
your booth or determine if you'd like to move your location this year.
I want to thank each an every one of you who participated in the 2011 Midwest Fly Fishing Expo. Once again, despite all of the concerns about the economy, the Expo was a very successful show and we once-again topped last years attendance. Saturday attendance this year was the second-best we've ever experienced at an Expo. We hope to see the trend continue in 2012.
Your participation was and is very important to the success of the show - we recognize that the vendors are the reason our attendees come through the door. There are many fly fishing shows in which you can participate - we are honored that you choose to spend the weekend at our show. We look forward to another successful Expo in 2012!
If you have any questions about the Expo, or if I can be of any assistance, please don't hesitate to contact me.
Thanks!
