It's really hard to believe we're ready to do this again so soon! We're once again looking forward to spring and the Midwest Fly Fishing Expo. As always, most of us use it as an opportunity to shake off the winter doldrums, buy all of the items we need to catch those elusive fish, and to get ready for the season to come.
I'd like to welcome you to the 2010 Midwest Fly Fishing Expo. It's the 32nd Annual Expo, sponsored once again by the Michigan Fly Fishing Club (MFFC). The 400+ members of the Club would like to invite you to be a vendor at the Expo and share in the fun, friendship, and excitement that the Expo brings to all participants each year. The dates for 2010 will be March 13th and 14th, with vendor setup on the 12th. Please note the dates for 2010 - as the years have gone by, the Expo has moved earlier in the month by a day each year, and we are staying with the second full weekend in March for the show. All of the particulars are outlined in the attached documents.
I've attached three documents for you - a welcome letter for the Expo, a contract for 2010, and a copy of the final layout from 2009 for you to use to jog your memory on your booth location and to assist you as you select your booth or determine if you'd like to move your location this year.
I want to thank each an every one of you who participated in the 2009 Midwest Fly Fishing Expo. Despite all of the concerns about the economy, the Expo was a very successful show. Believe it or not, we topped the 2008 attendance in 2009, and hope to be able to do at least as well for 2010. Your participation was and is very important to the success of the show. There are many fly fishing shows in which you can participate - we are honored that you choose to spend the weekend at our show. We look forward to another successful Expo in 2010!

I'm pleased to announce that we are changing hotels for this year. The host hotel will now be the Best Western Georgian Inn on Gratiot in Roseville. The hotel is about the same distance from the Expo venue as our last location, and the Georgian Inn has gone through a renovation.
A PDF is available from the hotel with all of the pertinent information, you can find it HERE You'll notice that the room rate is less expensive than the rates we've had for the last few years. We continue to look for opportunities to find value for you, our vendors, whom have supported us so well over the years! We'll continue to have our Friday and Saturday night hospitality events for you as well, and the Georgian Inn is prepared to make these nights as nice for you as they've been in the past.
